Frequently asked questions
Clear answers about tutor profiles, account access and the tools available across MathPro Tutors.
How are public tutors selected?
A tutor is listed only when the teacher profile is public, the account is active and verified, and the teacher lifecycle and compliance status meet the directory rules. Approved subject and grade capabilities power directory filters.
Can I contact a tutor without an account?
Private contact details are not published. Create a student or parent account to use platform-authorized communication and learning workflows.
What is available in the student portal?
Depending on assigned permissions and enabled modules, students can access classes, calendar, recordings, homework, attendance, progress, invoices, payments, messages, notifications and account security.
What can parents see?
Authorized guardians can view linked learner dashboards and switch between available students when that option is enabled. Access remains relationship- and permission-scoped.
How does a teacher join?
Complete the teacher application and required documents. The team can review documents, request more information, schedule an interview, approve or reject the application. Account teaching access is activated after approval.
Are class times shown in my local time zone?
Class records use UTC as the reliable storage reference. Portal screens present schedules using the time zone attached to the signed-in account.
Where can I get help after signing in?
Use the protected Support Center to create and follow account-scoped support tickets. Messages and notifications have their own dedicated modules.
